Kristy Hunt - Teacher (5 day 4 year olds)

 

Hello!  My name is Kristy Hunt (Teacher Kristy). I graduated from Millersville University with a dual degree in Elementary and Special Education, and I got my master's degree in Education from Gratz College. I taught Learning Support (Special Education) for 16 years, primarily in 3rd grade.

Last year I accepted a job as a preschool aide here at Preschool in the Valley for the last three months of the school year. I figured as an aide I could see what this preschool world was like. I ended up falling in love with it! I love the joy and excitement of the children. I love sharing stories with them, doing crafts, singing songs, playing games, and putting together puzzles. I love seeing the spark in their eyes when they learn something new. That is why I agreed to become a teacher this year. I am so excited to teach one of the 3-year-old classes!

My husband and I live in Paoli. We attend church here at Great Valley Presbyterian where I help teach Sunday School and help with Vacation Bible School in the summers. In my spare time I love to travel (I'm really into National Parks right now), but I can find adventure even close to home. I love reading, painting, crafting, photography, the outdoors, drinking tea, cooking, and baking. I love spending time with my nephews and niece.
