Colleen Knudson - Teacher (M-Th 4's)

Hello! I am Teacher Colleen Knudson and I have enjoyed working at  Preschool in the Valley since the fall of 2017.  I began as an assistant and became the 4 day 4s teacher I the fall of 2020.

Before having children, I taught preschool for four years, followed by kindergarten for two. I received my Master’s in ESL Education, and taught Elementary ESL for one year. During my eleven years as a stay-at-home Mom, I volunteered in many children’s ministries at my church, as well as my children’s elementary school. I spent six years as an assistant in a learning support classroom at KDM Elementary School before coming to Preschool in the Valley.

I love working at Preschool in the Valley because it is a very loving, positive atmosphere. Each staff member of the preschool, as well as Great Valley Presbyterian Church, is supportive of one another, and loving and kind to the children.  I enjoy teaching, reading to, playing with, laughing, singing, painting and dancing with your children.  Most of all, I am thankful to be able to share God's love with his precious little children.
